Our Mission
To promote and strengthen theatre arts at Texas State University. Our goals are to provide support for the theatre arts at Texas State, to offer opportunities for increased interaction among students possessing theatrical interests, and to increase public appreciation for the value of theatre.
Begins in September and members are inducted in November. Pledges are assigned to a "BIG" during the Fall who give them assignments to be completed before each week's meeting.
Serve the theatre in a variety of ways. The concession stand that opens during intermission of all major productions is maintained by Alpha Psi Omega. In the fall of 2005, members helped facilitate the Texas State Theatre Alumni Reunion. Alpha Psi Omega also produces the annual Ramsey Awards, the "Oscars" of Texas State.
