Musical Development Lab
#TXSTMDL
2024-2025 Projects
Why Work With Us?
Our curriculum, facilities, and infrastructural support allows us to workshop musicals in any stage of its development. We are seeking projects driven by artists from all walks of life who nurture unique, innovative ideas.
Acceptable submission materials may include:
- A full book/libretto/score
- Pitch deck
- Song samples
- Script samples
- Audio files
- Plot synopsis
- Character breakdowns
- Any media/material that represents the project!
Average Experience
On average, artists can expect a one week workshop experience with our faculty, students, and their creative team. Depending on the level of support required, some projects may extend past one-week. At the end of the workshop, we will present a live reading or presentation of the project. This presentation can be anything from a table-read to staged lab performance.
From first table read to a fully staged lab production, we have the capacity to foster a myriad of possibilities.
